Since birth our children TK, 2 years old and Trinity, 11 months old were both cared for at home. Earlier this year the dreaded time came for us to find a place for them to attend during the day. Immediately we set out on the daunting task of finding a nurturing establishment with a long-standing reputation of being a place for social, physical, and educational development. We wanted a place that would possess the qualities we shower our children with at home such as love, kindness, patience and respect.

Our search lead us to Discovery Lane where what we discovered was far more than we had ever imagined. A learning facility where creativity, positivity and individuality are encouraged, and education and child development is supported, Gateway instantly became the frontrunner in our search. With a staff that is beyond accommodating, TK and Trinity felt right at home. The decision was unanimous amongst our family; Gateway Academy was the exact place we were looking for.

On January 24, 2011 our children officially became apart of the Gateway family. Since then our children have thrived in so many ways and we attribute it to the expertise and professionalism of its staff, and a curriculum meticulously designed for educational development.

TK and Trinity are excited about school days and have plenty of fun experiences to share at the end of the day. We are quite pleased with what our family has discovered at Gateway Academy. It is far more than a child development center, it is the first step towards our children’s future! We are beyond pleased with our decision and are excited about the many lasting memories that our children will create at the Gate = )

I absolutely love Gateway Academy in Surfside Beach.  Since day one, they’ve been amazing with my son.  As a parent, I sometimes felt guilty about having to enroll my son in a daycare, but that feeling quickly went away once I put him in Gateway.  He has excelled far beyond what I could have ever expected since beginning here.  The staff is wonderful and they know our family personally.  They go above and beyond to make sure our son’s interest, well being and personal growth and development come first.  I am 100% confident in their guidance helping my son reach his full potential at these early stages in his life.  I cannot say enough about them.
