Welcome to Gateway Academy preschool in Surfside, South Carolina, one of the fastest growing communities in the country!

At Gateway Academy we take advantage of the wonderful South Carolina weather with lots of outdoor activities on our large playgrounds.  We have three awesome playgrounds to ensure our children are using age-appropriate equipment.  You will have to stop by to see them!

Our amazing 10,000 square foot school features 9 custom designed classrooms where children have ample space for learning centers, yet still have a cozy atmosphere that feels like home.  Our curriculum program, Creative Kaleidoscope of Learning, features Zoo-Phonics®,  Math Their Way, Baby Signs®, Country and Culture, Spanish, and monthly themes around which we plan our Art, Science and Sensory, and Literature programming.

A nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are prepared at no additional cost by our wonderful cook.

Our Surfside preschool offers child care and early education programs for children ages six weeks through pre-kindergarten.  Additionally, we have the best Before and After School program in Surfside including homework help and and free transportation from area schools for children kindergarten – 5th grade.  We offer programs for school- age children during school breaks or teacher development days.

Our lead teachers have their South Carolina teaching credentials and many have their Associates or Bachelors degree.
