Welcome to Gateway Academy Child Development Centers in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. We offer a variety of full and part time care and education for children. We pride ourselves on our learning program which begins with our infants. Our learning program is a creative curriculum which involves teacher interaction and is developmentally appropriate for all ages. Children ages 6 weeks through 5 years are fully prepared and confident in their abilities in writing, math, science, social studies, art, music and phonics as they begin their Kindergarten experience at the elementary school level. Our building is secure with a key pad entry system and our classrooms are designed with windows that allow viewing from one room to another throughout the building. Our three playgrounds are designed for specific age groups allowing us to put developmentally appropriate equipment in each area for the safety of the children. We offer breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack to all our children each day using USDA approved menus. Gateway is very family-oriented and we enjoy many special activities throughout the year with our enrolled families and children in our community. We offer opportunities for tuition discounts to families involved with agencies that aid in tuition payment for qualifying families.
