Welcome to Gateway Academy at Kenton. Our school has been a part of the Lake Norman community since August of 2001. We are located at 16420 Sedgebrook Lane in the Kenton Place business park, directly across the street from Lowes Foods grocery store.
We are very proud to be a 4-star school in North Carolina. Our Management Team together has over 30 years Child Care and Early Education experience. We offer care and exciting educational programs for children ages 6 weeks old through twelve years old. Our qualified teachers create lesson plans that enhance and promote an enriched learning environment for every age group.
Beginning in Fall 2010, we will offer Private Kindergarten, featuring a Kindergarten curriculum specifically developed to meet and exceed NC Standard Course of Study. A Gateway Academy licensed and certified North Carolina Kindergarten teacher will implement individualized learning plans in a low student to teacher ratio classroom setting.
Our school-age program includes Before and After school care, full-day care for teacher workdays, extended holiday breaks and a fantastic, fun-filled summer camp.
