We began our experience with daycare about five years ago, with our first son. After keeping him home for the first year, we decided to place him in a daycare. After checking into the options we decided on a daycare center. A difficult part of leaving your child under someone else’s care is the fear that they will not be attended to like they are at home. This, unfortunately for us, came true. The changes in our son were instantaneous. Something was not working with that daycare center.

Luckily Gateway Academy had an opening. They immediately changed our negative misconception of daycare. They were friendly and took pride in everything that they did. Most importantly our child was safe, kept clean, and surrounded by teachers who love what they do. You can tell your child is happy when he doesn’t want to leave when it’s time to go home.

As working parents, this kind of peace of mind is priceless! Now the proud parents of two sons; while we are at work we are confident that our children are in good hands. Not only will they be safe, but they will have a fun-filled day of learning and be exposed to enriching activities. The staff has been wonderful and our children have closely bonded with several of the teachers.

We have to say that although the service was good five years ago, it has come such a long way and is even more exceptional than we could imagine. The center Director, Christy, leads her team in providing an environment that is inviting, loving, warm, caring, and responsive to all the many needs of each child. We couldn’t be more pleased with our child’s experience at Gateway Academy.

As a single parent it was hard for me to allow anyone to care for my son. But on the first day until the present day I never had a worry about leaving my son in the care of the staff of Gateway. They have treated my son as well as myself as family. They have treated him so well and taught him so much. I owe them. You should be thankful to have a staff like this!
