Welcome to Gateway Academy preschool at Kenton. Our school has been a part of the Lake Norman community since August of 2001. Our preschool is located at the corner of Sedgebrook Lane and in the Kenton Place business park, directly across the street from Lowes Foods grocery store.

We are very proud to be a 4-star accredited preschool in Huntersville. Our Management Team together has over 30 years of Child Care and Early Education experience. We offer care and exciting educational programs for children ages 6 weeks old through Kindergarten. Our qualified teachers create lesson plans that enhance and promote an enriched learning environment for every age group.

We are also proud to offer what we believe is the best private kindergarten in Huntersville. The class features a kindergarten curriculum specifically developed to meet and exceed the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Our class is lead by a certified North Carolina Kindergarten teacher. In her classroom each child has an individualized learning plan in a low student to teacher ratio classroom setting. Her class is the perfect way to build a foundation for future academic success.
