Welcome to Gateway Academy Child Development Centers in Charlotte, NC. At Gateway Academy, we believe that children learn and benefit from child-directed play activities. Our state of the art playgrounds feature the newest outdoor equipment and plenty of space for children to stretch their muscles.
Our beautiful new school features 11 custom designed classrooms where children have ample space for learning centers, yet still can maintain a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. Our multi-purpose room is a hub of activity with regular computer classes, weekly extracurricular activities and rotational learning opportunities.
Our curriculum program, Creative Kaleidoscope of Learning, features Zoo-Phonics®, D’nealean Handwriting, Math Their Way, Baby Signs®, Country and Culture, Spanish, and monthly themes around which we plan our Art, Science and Sensory, and Literature programming.
Nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are prepared each day by our talented cook.
At Gateway academy we consider ourselves to be one big family. Cultural family events, parent’s night out and breakfast on the go are just a few of the special family oriented programs we offer.
We provide care and programs for children ages six weeks through twelve years old and offer free transportation to area schools for children kindergarten – 5th grade.
