Welcome to Gateway Academy in Charlotte, NC!

We are proud to be able to provide 5 Star Early Childhood care and education to the children and families of North Charlotte. Our highly educated team of teachers are skilled and trained to provide top quality early childhood education to young children. We focus on developmentally appropriate practices that will allow your child to enter kindergarten feeling confident and prepared.  We offer care and programs for children ages six weeks through twelve years old and offer free transportation to area schools for children kindergarten – 5th grade.

Nutritious breakfasts, lunches and afternoon snacks are prepared by our cook and provided at no additional cost.

Our amazing 10,000 square foot preschool features 10 custom designed classrooms where children have ample space for learning centers, yet still have a cozy atmosphere that feels like home.  Our curriculum program, Creative Kaleidoscope of Learning, features Baby Signs®, Zoo-Phonics®, D’nealean Handwriting, Math Their Way, Country and Culture, Spanish, and monthly themes around which we plan our Art, Science and Sensory, and Literature programming.

Our preschool embraces a hands-on approach for learning.  We believe that children truly learn through guidance from our teachers but just as much from the experiences they have while learning.

We have an awesome Before and After School program with free transportation to and from:

Our Charlotte Before and After School program includes homework help and a ton of fun activities to ensure your school ager has a good time with his or her friends. During Teacher Development days and all school holidays/vacations, we are proud to offer a full day program to our school-age students.

Our Summer Camp program is geared towards our school-aged students and offers weekly themed activities all summer long!

Gateway Academy preschool on Mallard Glen is conveniently located at the Mallard Creek Church Road exit, off  Exit 46A from Interstate 85.
